Description: Alachlor/LASSO is non-volatility ivory crystal powder, melting point is 40.5-41.5°C, solubility: In water 242 mg/l (25°C). Soluble in diethyl ether, acetone, benzene, chloroform, ethanol, and ethyl acetate. Slightly soluble in heptane.

 

Toxicity: Acute oral LD50 for rat is 930-1350mg/kg, acute dermal LD50 for rabbit is 13300mg/kg.

 

 

Function: Control annual grasses and many broad-leaved weeds in cotton, brassicas, maize, oilseed rape, peanuts, raish, soya beans and sugar cane. It is a selective systemic herbicide, absorbed by germinating shoots and by roots. It works by interfering with a plant's ability to produce protein and by interfering with root elongation.

Special Precautions: While using the poison, use protective equipment and avoid eating, drinking and smoking. If contaminated, wash the skin with water and soap. Avoid contaminating skin and eyes with the poisonous solution. Keep the container out of reach of children, animals and away from food. After using, wash the empty container 3 times and then bury away from underground water. After using, wash the equipment with water and cleaner materials.
